After an all important requirements gathering phase, Dig Savvy has been contracted to lead the e-Communications web team's efforts to move forward with the planning and implementation of the Trade Commissioner Service's web site re-vamp. Phase 1 includes usability enhancements to the existing Content Management Tool, including the ability to manage all content pages in-house, along with other key features, including the integration of the Google Search Appliance to enhance the public and business clients' user experience.

Dig Savvy has been contracted to participate in requirements gathering for a new and improved client-centric Trade Commissioner Service web site. The re-vamp will include a task-based Information Architecture (moving away from an organizational approach), improved registration processes and user initiated personalization opportunities.

Dig Savvy and Suite 204 team up once again and are pleased to announce the launch of DRUGDOCS™. A public interface targeted for health professionals allows access to documentation on U.S. brand name drugs from one central location. A content management system was also developed for the client to manage drugs, advertising requests, comments and users of the system.

Dig Savvy was contracted to design and develop savoirnet.ca. SAVOIRNET is a collaborative organization of educators, engineers and communications professionals with concentrated expertise in youth education. savoirnet.ca launched in February 2009.

Dig Savvy continues to act as Project Manager and Information Architect on behalf of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in migrating existing web assets to new departmental CLF 2.0 framework. Implementation of re-structured site content and navigation strategy forms part of the exercise.

Day 1 of the new year and already there is "no rest for the wicked". Ongoing work continues on the government side for Human Resources and Social Development Canada and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada. As well, a couple of new private sector web sites will be launching in the coming months - stay tuned.

All the best for a 2009 in the hopes that it will be full of peace, health and happiness worldwide.
